Bio

Paris Zarcilla is a writer/director of film and television with aims to create meaningful, profound, genre-bending stories. His debut film, Raging Grace is the winner of the Narrative Feature Jury Award and Thunderbird Rising Award for Best Debut at SXSW 23'.

He was a part of the 2019-2022 BAFTA x NETWORK CREW and was selected for the NETWORK@LFF 2019 COHORT and BFI FLARE x BAFTA 2021 Mentor Program. In June 2019 he was shadow director on season one for BBC Studios, His Dark Materials.

Paris has written and directed a TV drama called The Century Egg for Singapore's StarHub channel under digital Emmy nominated production company Refinery Media and was released across Asia in March 2020.

In 2022 Paris was a 2nd Unit Director on Sally Wainwright’s The Ballad of Renegade Nell for Disney+.

He is now working on the second film in his ‘Rage Trilogy’, DOMESTIC.
